CFC HHM at Bro. John & Sis. Jeanette's Place

Photo taken last Aug. 26, 2006 (Sat.) at Bro. John & Sis. Jeanette Tacorda's place.

Redeemed by Christ and made a new creature by the Holy Spirit, man can, indeed he must, love the things of God’s creation: it is from God that he has received them, and it is as flowing from God’s hand that he looks upon them and reveres them. Man thanks his divine benefactor for all these things, he uses them and enjoys them in a spirit of poverty and freedom: thus he is brought to a true possession of the world, as having nothing yet possessing everything.

Unity In Christ

Bro. Bob and Sis. Teisha Uyquiengco our CFC country coordinator for China visited Macau last August 18. During their visit the Couples For Christ community in Macau was given a teaching about "Unity in Christ" last 19th August. The venue is at Bro. Bobet and Sis. Sally's flat in Taipa. A total of 22 members were there to listen to that interesting topic. Bro. Bob stressed that we as Christians must be united with Christ, united with each other and united for mission. One specific example of being united with Christ is that when we turn away from our old selves and are renewed through the power of Christ's resurrection. United with each other because we are children of the same Father. He mentioned that to be united for the mission our main goal must be to win the world for Christ. Sis. Teisha also shared related experience about the talk.

A Teaching about Relationship

A talk was given by Sis. Ghie Agana last Aug. 12 at Bro. Bobet and Sis. Sally’s flat. It was about our relationship with God, spouse and family and with our fellow brothers and sisters in the community. She mentioned that all these must be strengthened with prayers. The importance of daily prayer is the basic foundation in establishing our personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. There should be a weekly dialogue between husband and wife. She also stressed the importance of headship and submission. Our relationship with our brothers and sisters could be enhanced by the proper use of our tongue. Other areas of improvement regarding relationships were also discussed. Bro. Tony and Sis. Jing Mangente, Bro. Dante Quejano, Sis. Sally Vinluan, Sis. Fe Cruz, Bro. Jhoone and Sis. Marlyn David, Sis. Francis Fesalbon and other members of the community shared their own views. Lastly it was ended by a celebration of Sis. Laila de Lara's birthday one of our SFC's.

YFC Macau is Born

The Youth Camp ended last Sunday July 30, 2006 at 12:00 pm. A total of 17 youths of Macau have become the first members of our Youth For Christ Ministry under the headship of Bro. Dante and Sis. Donna Quejano. Almost all the parents of the participants were there to congratulate their sons and daughters who have come to know Jesus more. CFC Macau members were also there to welcome them. Parents prayed over their children and the children prayed over their parents. After that participants were given a chance to share their experience. The celebration ended with a simple snack and fellowship for all. We thanked Dylan, Jessie, Allan, Roselle and the Youth Service team of Hongkong for all their support and making this camp a success. Above all we thanked the Lord for adding these young people to our numbers.
